paid bills, no other business conducted of interest except Mr. Mooney was authorized to buy diplomas for graduates.

Motion made and duly seconded the school board borrow $675.00 from the "Title and Trust Company" for school purposes. motion carried unanimously.

Motion carried to petition the state to open Smith another year.

Motion made and seconded to unite Room no. 1 and Room no. 2 for next year, motion unanimously carried.

School Board met in regular meeting all members present

On motion we buy our supplies from J.M.Beyers of Punxy. Motion carried

The matter of teachers was taken up and all appreciations were considered.  The following teachers were elected.

Smith School - David Gayley

Richardsville Grades - Mildred Shaffer

Russell - Mary McLaughlin

Sect. was instructed to write to the Department and see if we could continue our 3 year H.S. course under our teacher.

On motion we pay the interest on Harve Wingard's note of $40.00, which has run for 10 months and renewed the note for 4 months.  On motion we adjourned to meet the first Monday in July to make annual settlements, elect officers etc.  motion carried

School board met to settle business for the year 1920-21

It was found that the Treasurer of the school board had received from all sources $6,116.58 and had paid out $5449.22 leaving a balance in treasury of $667.46

On motion the following orders were paid.

Eldred Twp. W.J. Park Sect Tuition Lindsay children - $68.19

Brookville Republican Advertising school letting - $2.00 

Brookville American Advertising school letting - $2.25

Nessie Horner for dinner - $2.00

Mary McLaughlin failed to comply with the requirements for teachers and it was necessary to elect a teacher in her place for Russell School.  Miss Bessie Shaffer was elected to teach at Russell School.

On motion, Roland A. Shaffer was elected to teach the H.S.  His salary to be $140.00 mo.

School board met in special meeting to adjust matters in regard to the suspension of Evalyn Cable.

All members of school board were present, also Supt. Anderson was there at the request of the board.  Evalyn Cable and parents also the teacher Miss Mildred Shaffer.  After hearing the cause of Miss Shaffer for suspending the Cable girl and also hearing practically the same story from the Cable girl, the board decided to restore the Cable girl to the school and that the girl be given a seat beside her brother.  The day following Miss Shaffer handed her resignation to the school board and it was accepted.
