Motion that Dorotha McFadden teach room 2 along with her own, motion carried

Motion that Guy Shaffer see Annie McLaughlin and if she is not going to apply to send contract to Mary McLaughlin.

Motion that we make contract with Dorotha McFadden, Earl Beatty & Mildred Bartholomew at the same wadges as this term, motion carried.

March 21 1927 School Board met in special meeting, all members present: 

Annie McLaughlin having Whooping cough, the matter of a substitute was taken up.  motion to interview Mrs. Eunice Carrier, motion carried

Motion carried that we have the High School teachers attend the next meeting.

P.S. Mrs. Carrier has agreed to teach until Miss. McLaughlin is able to return.

Mrs. Pearsall was elected teacher for next term of school at Russell.

May 28 1927 School Board met in regular meeting, members present: Guy Shaffer,  Fred Van Norman, Edd Gilligan and D.E. McFadden.

Bids were opened:

Motion that we accept Leroy McCracken's bid for coal at 15 cents per bu. motion carried

Motion that we accept John McFadden's bid for hauling scholars at $58.50 per month, motion carried

Our School levy for coming year to 18 mills and $5.00 per capita, 7 mills and $5.00 for indebtedness, and 11 mills for upkeep for schools.

Compulsorily attendance for coning year at 75%, first and last month.  School to begin last Monday in August.  J.P. McCracken elected Truant officer

June 20 1927 School Board met to discuss painting school house at Richardsville.  

Sect. was instructed to arrange meeting with Mr. Falk about painting building.

Sect was instructed to arrange with Clark Long to furnish kindling.

June 22 1927 School Board met in special meeting:

On approval of the Board Mr. E.L. Falk consented to paint the R.V. School House two coats, wire brushing where necessary for the sum of $60.00.  The Board to furnish paint and brushes.  Paint to be thoroughly dry by the time school opens.  Mr Falk would assume all (unreadable) risks.

July 6 1927 Yearly Audit

Aug 1st 1927 School Board met in regular meeting, members present: Guy Shaffer,  Fred Van Norman, J.P. McCracken and D.E. McFadden.

Motion that we pay Clark Long $4.00 per cord for cutting and hauling kindling, motion carried.

Motion that we pay Glenn Riggs for paint, motion carried.

Motion carried that D.A. Stewart and Walter Sartwell were accepted as boardsmen for collecting taxes.

Motion to accept W.H. Miller's bid of $20.00 for cleaning R.V. School house, oiling floors, and cleaning toilets.

Motion that Guy Shaffer see W.H. Miller about cleaning Russell School house carried.

Sect. was instructed to notify painter to get busy painting school house.

Sect. to look after Insurance for Teachers & drivers, notify teachers about next meting., same to be Aug 18th in the evening.

Sect. was also instructed to order supplies for next term.

Aug 18 1927 School Board met in regular meeting, members present: Fred Van Norman, Edd Gilligan and D.E. McFadden.

Motion to pay W.H. Miller for cleaning schools R.V. and Russell, motion carried

Motion to pay Lewis Evans note due on Aug 20th, motion carried

Sect was instructed to order flags and pulleys for flag poles.

Sect also instructed to order flag for R.V. School, also books as instructed by teachers.

Motion that we pay painter when painting is finished, motion carried

Aug 23 1927 School Board met in special meting to examine painting of R.V. School house, same was pronounced satisfactory, and on motion check was granted to pay Mr. Faulk.  W.H. Miller was engaged to paint toilets.
