May 22 1933 School Board and Teachers met at the School House, all members and Teachers present. paid bills Miss Duncan was granted the use of vacant school rooms for club work for the Summer. By agreement June 5th was set to her from the citizens of Russell. By unanimous vote the millage for school year 1933 &34 was set at nine (9) mills and the per capita tax at $3.50 Three dollars and fifty cents. By unanimous vote the High School Principal Miss McFadden & the grade teachers R.Glassford & Helen Stalhman be given new contracts for another year teaching By motion adjourned until June 12 1933
June 12 1933 School Board met at the School House, all members present paid bills By unanimous vote Miss Lois Dickinson was elected teacher for another year. By motion we advertise for coal, cleaning, hauling, and cleaning school houses. By agreement and discussions of Russell we decided to leave the grade school at Russell & henceforth High School (unreadable) @ Richardsville High School If pupils are not sent to Richardsville, agreement is void. By unanimous vote we pay teachers the minimum salary (unreadable) by the State 10 per cent on old salary adjourned until July 3 1933 R.B.D.

Aug 30 1933 School Board met at the School House, all members present Sect was directed to send bill for tuition to Polk (unreadable) Sect. was directed to inform pupils of school law concerning (unreadable) of tuition in other districts The hauling job of R.T.Sior? was accepted and the bill of one hundred thirty five dollars ordered paid. By unanimous vote the tax collector was directed to extend the (unreadable) from Oct 7 to June 1934 The Sect was directed to order necessary books for the next school year. adjourned that we meet at the call of the President.
