Jan 8 1938 Board met at School House, present Edward Gilligan was re-appointed for a term of six years was elected President & J.P.McCracken was elected Vice President - R.B.Dunmire was appointed for a term of two years, and ?loyton Y?????? for a term of six years (that was almost unreadable) paid bills adjourned to meet Feb 7 1938
Feb 7 1938 Board met at the school house, members present, Gilligan, Pearsall, McCracken & Dunmire paid bills Mrs. Helen Stalhman Little read her resignation as primary teacher to take effect at close of present term after eight years of service. Resignation was accepted The motion of filling the vacancy was discussed. Discussion was deferred till next meeting. By motion carried unanimously we buy a fire extinguisher Price ($12.50). adjourned to meet Feb 28 1938 Sect. R.B.D
Feb 28 1938 West Warsaw School Board met at School House, all members present Merton Singledecker took the oath of office as Director for six years paid bills Miss Ethel Moore of Corsica was elected primary teacher for school year 1938 & 39 by unanaimus vote. adjourned to meet April 4 1938 R.B.D. May 27 1938 West Warsaw School Board met at School House, all members present but Singledecker. paid bills Discussed paying Paul Luther $20.00 per month for hauling pupils from W.W.Brownlees's? (hard to read name) J.P.McCracken was appointed to fix roof and toilets L.G.Pearsall was to get (unreadable & unreadable) adopted budget, adjourned to meet at call of President R.B.Dunmire Sect.

Aug 15 1938 Board met at School House, all members present but Gilligan. all bills paid but S.G.Yount & Sons By unanimous carried vote we give Harry Radaker for 6 tons of coal at two fifty ($2.50) per ton if satisfactory coal for all year at same (unreadable) By motion we accept B.P.Smith's bid for cleaning the school house and grounds as usual & in addition washing walls and ceilings of rooms for twenty dollars ($20.00) By unanimously carried motion B.P.Smith was given a contract for hauling the Smith School for ($42.58) un condition that ( unreadable, unreadable, unreadable, whole lot of unreadable, when a car will not run.) adjourned to meet Oct 3 1938
