Feb 12 1945 School Board of West Warsaw Twp. met for regular meeting at 8:00 P.M., with three directors present, Pearsall, McCracken and Beatty.

March 3 1945 letter to the West Warsaw School Board.

Mar 5 1945 School Board of West Warsaw Twp. met in Richardsville School House for regular meeting at 8:00 P.M., with Harold Beatty, Wm Brownlee and J.P. McCracken present.

Motion made and carried to have Guy Shaffer replace the broken glass in windows.

By motion Sect was instructed to order supplies needed for the school, motion carried.

Harold Deemer, bus driver was present to get action from the school board in regard to High School boys leaving the bus at the School house and disturbing the school.

A motion was made by J.P.McCracken and seconded by Wm. Brownlee to have the parents send a written note if they want their boys to leave the bus for any reason., motion carried

April 2 1945 School Board of West Warsaw Twp. met in Richardsville School House for regular meeting at 8:00 P.M., members present, Harold Beatty, L.G.Pearsall and Sect.

paid all bills current

By motion have the teachers fill out the order for necessary supplies for the coming term.

May 7 1945 School Board of West Warsaw Twp. met in Richardsville School House for regular meeting at 8:00 P.M., with the following members present, Harold Beatty, Paul McCracken, L.G.Pearsall, Wm. Brownlee and Sect.

By carried motion to pay for the books received from John (unreadable) Co. 

paid all regular bills

Motion made by McCracken seconded by Brownlee to form a resolution necessary for making up time lost last winter.  A copy of resolution to be forwarded to Dept. of Public Institutions and resolution to be copied in minutes.

COPY OF RESOLUTION:

Whereas pursuant to the previsions of the Act of Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. No. 328 approved May 23 1945, This Board of School Directors has found as a fact, that the normal operation of the schools in this district, as required by the school laws of the Commonwealth, with respect to the number of days per week that schools are in session interferes with the (proposition?)( I think, hard to read.)  Where for, be it resolved, that under paragraph (a) and (b) of said Act 328 The said Board of School District does here-by elect to keep the schools of the District in session such days and number of days per week, as it shall deem necessary or desirable, or extend the length of the School days in such manner as to make it a full School day and a portion of additional day.

I further Certify the Board of School Directors of West Warsaw School District Jeff. Co. has received the approval of John H. Hughs, Supt. of Schools in Jefferson Co.

June 29 1945 School Board of West Warsaw Twp. met in Richardsville School House with members present, Purl McCracken, Harold Beatty, & Wm Brownlee.

1945-46 budget approved

By motion to see Spindler about coal for the coming year.

July 30 1945 A special meeting of the West Warsaw school board was called by President Harold Beatty, all members present.

Motion was made and seconded to send for necessary books for coming year.

Motion was made and duly seconded to have necessary repairs done on school building and out-building.

Secretary was instructed to enumerate the school children for coming year.

Secretary was instructed to advertise for bids for cleaning school house and grounds.

Sept 3 1945 Regular meeting held at Richardsville School House at 8:30 P.M. all members present but Wm. Brownlee.

New books were checked and O.K'd

paid all regular bills

Motion made and seconded to pay Harold Beatty $20.00 for cleaning school house.

Motion was made and seconded to table Peterson Reading system until it is inquired into.

Dec 3 1945 A special meeting of the West Warsaw school board as called by the Co. Supt. for the purpose of organizing the school board.  Directors Beatty, Brownlee and McCracken present

A motion was made by Brownlee, seconded by MCracken to re-elect current officers to serve the coming year, motion passed.
