April 5 1948 The regular monthly school meeting was held of the West Warsaw District was held at the Richardsville School house, present were  Beatty and Pearsall, and McCracken & Sect.

May 3 1948 The regular monthly school meeting was held of the West Warsaw District was held at the Richardsville School house, present were  Beatty and Pearsall, and McCracken & Sect.  Visitors present, were Harold Deemer, Pearsall and Paul Luther.

By carried motion instructed Mr. Deemer give to Utility Furnace Co. to order new fire box coating.

Mr. Deemer wished to resign from his present contract of transporting school students. said contract is in force until July 1 1949. A motion made and carried to have Mr. Pearsall to see the Richie bus Co. about transporting the school children in place of Deemer.

Sect was instructed to enumerate children for next term. motion passed

May 10 1948 A special  meeting was held of the West Warsaw District was held at the Richardsville School house, present were  Beatty and Pearsall, and McCracken & Brownlee and Sect. to present budget for coming term 1948-49

The School Board levied 21 mills per dollar, and $5.00 per capita, motion carried

Mckillip, Amanda (McKillip) Corbett and Mary McKillip Burcher.  Rene would travel to the Work and Boyer farms to pick up the children and take them to Richardsville road in her horse drawn school bus.  The children would ride a motorized school bus from there to Richardsville "West Warsaw School"

 

June 7 1948 The regular monthly school meeting was held of the West Warsaw District was held at the Richardsville School house, present were  Beatty and Pearsall, and McCracken & Sect.  

  

A motion was made by McCracken to have Sect. see Mrs. Mckillip about hauling the Smith School children next year at the same price. motion carried

A motion was made to accept the proposed Nursing program. motion carried

Motion made and carried to appoint L.G. Pearsall as a board member of the Nursing program.

Motion made and carried to put the lower bus route up for bids with Mr. Deemer's resignation.

Aug 16 1948

A special  meeting was held of the West Warsaw District was held at the Richardsville School house, present were  Beatty and Pearsall, and McCracken & Beatty and Sect. to elect a new teacher for room 1 which was vacated by the resignation of Albert Henry.

After careful consideration of three applicants, Mrs. Helen Ermeich? (<hard to read) Milliron was unanimously elected to be the teacher for room 1.

By motion and carried it was decided to get 500 bu. of coal from Earl Beatty and Lloyd McCracken.

Oct 1948

A special meeting was held in the home of Wm. Brownlee to settle the business about Mrs. Milliron's Certificate. A state of emergency had to be declared in order for her to obtain an Emergency War Certificate. Such state of emergency was declared in view of the fact there were no suitable applicants for the school.  Members present, Beatty, Brownlee, and McCracken.
