Feb 6 1050 A regular meeting of the board was held, members present, McCracken, Brownlee, a new member Neil R. Shaffer was sworn as the meeting took place.

A motion to have Lloyd McCracken do some grading behind the school to keep water from entering the school.

A motion by Neal Shaffer and seconded by McCracken to give James Long a farm permit to work on the farm of Harry H. Glenn of Corsica RD1 - The permit for ( unreadable) school term 1949-50 The board decided to order - (unreadable, unreadable, unreadable)

June 14 1950 A special meeting of the board was held to discuss the bids for school house work, complete job, or part of job.  Bid must be in hand of secretary by July 11 1950.  Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

Motion carried to let contract for painting roof to Modern Home Insulation , Ed (unreadable) as bid called. motion carried

A motion By Shaffer seconded by Brownlee to apply for Transportation contract.

By motion to order 1950-51 supplies as soon as same received from  Mr. Ruffner.

A motion by McCracken, seconded by Brownlee to advertise for teacher for room #2 to replace Mr. Ruffner after July 15 - 50 if needed.

July 10 1950 A motion by Mr. Shaffer seconded by McCracken to renew contract with Harold T.  Deemer for transportation of school pupils for tern 1950-51 at $12.50 per day as of old contract, and re-new contract with Rena McKillip for term 1950 - 51 at $4.00 per day. motion carried

July 3 1950 Auditors met with Sect at Richardsville School House.

July 10 1950 A special meeting was held at Richardsville School House, members present,  Gilligan,  McCracken, Brownlee.

A motion by Pearsall, seconded by Brownlee to hire David Gayley as teacher for room #2 and have Sect. to fill a permanent contract of $2,500.00 per year, and to be paid over 12 months. Mr. Saley? (<hard to read) was present at meeting, motion carried.

Motion carried to withdraw motion from July 3 1950 to advertise for teacher.
