April 17 1951 A special meeting of the board was held to act on millage for 1951 - 52 term, members present, Gilligan, Pearsall, McCracken and Shaffer.
Millage to be set at 21 mills, and per capita $5.00 and $5.00 personal, by resolution, and advertise same in papers.
A motion to let inside school room doors unlocked so pupils can get into rooms in the morning, and to inform teachers of same, motion carried.
Motion to confine pupils to school grounds between hours of 8:00 AM till 4:00 PM with written excuses from parents they may be excused to leave, teachers to be told same.

The meeting consisted of election of officers, as follows:
L.G Pearsall as chairman after a call for nominations, 1st C. E. Gilligan for Pres. 2nd Neal R. Shaffer for Pres. A call for vote was 3 for Gilligan and 2 for Shaffer. A motion by McCracken to close nominations, motion closed with Gilliagn President.
A call for Vice Pres. nominations by McCracken for Neal Shaffer, vote 2 Pearsall vote 2, motion closed
