April 9 1952 A special meeting of the West Warsaw School Board was called by President.

Mr. Gilligan called attention to the importance of attending meetings.

Worked on and completed budget for coming year, arrangements made to have it published in County Paper.

May 12 1952 A regular meeting of the board was held, members present, Pearsall, Gilligan, Shaffer, McCracken.

Opening of bids for roof, it was finally decided go postpone giving of bids on roof.

Next was reading of bids on installation of water pump system.  Motion made to accept the bid of Reynoldsville Hardware Co. to include water, sink, fountain, with either plastic or copper tubing.

Next applications for Teacher in room 1.  It was decided to contact Mrs. Wallace about the job.\

May 18 1952 A special meeting of the board was held, members present, Pearsall, Gilligan, Shaffer, McCracken and Brownlee.

The matter of giving the roofing contract to Reynoldsville Hardware, if their bond covered a full value of the roof for 15 years.   I f not, then give the contract to Brookville Insulators with  bond as read.   motion carried

A motion at previous meeting gave the water system contract to Reynoldsville Hardware Co.

The contract with Miss. Wallace to teach room one was accepted.

It was decided to make out a bus schedule and distribute it to families who children ride the bus.

It was decided to get nails to finish shingles on building.

June 2 1952 A regular meeting of the board was held, members present, Pearsall, Gilligan, Shaffer, latter, McCracken arrived.

By motion the bus routes were put up for bid, motion carried

Ad must appear in paper three times, bids must be in by noon June 23rd.

Next bus contracts were considered and terms agreed to by Mrs. McKillip for transporting students.  Price set at $810.00 same as last year. 

Next the reading of contracts for hauling Hig School and grade school pupils.  The Richie Co. was the low bidder, but no bids were accepted.  Motion by Brownlee and seconded to contact Richie Co. also Mr. Deemer about reconsidering his bid.

Next motion to make David Gayley Sect. of Board, motion carried.

Next a discussion about transportation contracts and getting a new roof and water pump installed.  Mr. Pearsall was to contact Reynoldsville Hardware Co. The Sect. was to get in touch with High Way Dep. concerning new school stop signs.

Next was a motion by Brownlee to get Mrs. Julia Long to clean school rooms for term, seconded by Pearsall.

The matter of hauling Smith pupils until heard from Polk Township.

Aug 21 1952 A special meeting of the board was held to decide on transportation of pupils on the route hauled by Mrs. McKillip.

After a short discussion it was decided to discontinue this route. motion carried.  It was also decided to let our own bus haul all pupils as in the past.

By carried motion to give coal contract to Neal Shaffer at $6.25 per ton.

Administering of oath of office to Phillip Bartlett newly appointed director, Mr. Pearsall acted as the temporary chairman.  Motion to nominate Mr. Pearsall as President, motion carried.

Motion to raise salary of Sect $100.00 per year, motion carried

After much discussion it was decided to find out what material would be needed to reinforce the roof.   An order was made out and given to Pearsall to get needed material.

Old business discussed was the getting roof supports installed as soon as possiable, McCracken to have this work done before we get a heavy snow.

Next it was decided to have someone audit school funds, motion the Board audit funds once a year after school term.

Motion made and carried to retain same officers next year.

Motion to join the State School Board Association was discussed, motion tabled.
