Foreword
These are a series of accounts of my growing up years in Western Pennsylvania
and subsequent events of interest. They begin with a letter to Colin.
It was the first time that I tried to record some of my early memories.
I did not continue the letter format after that first instance, but began
to write the memories down in story form.
I hope that you find them interesting. Let me know what you think.

I just finished mowing, Danny, so I will send you another batch. I think that the
Statute of Limitations has probably taken effect by now, so if a game warden reads
