The last week of July, I have change the header color above for 7 days. I ask that we all PLEASE take a moment to say a little prayer for the health and well being for all of our extended family. It may be a week or two until I do any more updating, thank you for your patience.
Here is a sample from a new collection: See Photo I.D. Help
Shared by Janet (Carrier) Sarvey of Brookville Pa.
The Lewis Evans house, still stands as one of the Grand ole Places in Richardsville today.
Dated: 1900 as Thomas Carl Evans in the Buggy was born in 1899"

Lewis enlisted in Co. E, 1st Batt. Vols. in 1864. His parents were William and Esther Evans, natives of Wales. He was married on May 29, 1866, to Julia Preston. They have five children now living: Charles W., William G., Lizzie M., Harry L., and Luther E. His second wife was Fannie H. Byers, to whom he was married on July 31, 1884. She was a daughter of Thomas and Eliza ( Ferguson) Byers.
This is just a small sample of the collection of early 1900 photos Janet (Carrier) Sarvey has been kind enough to share, dozens more to be posted in Photo ID Help section. Janet offers names on almost all of her old photos, this helps everyone in identifying people in other old photos.
See Photo I.D. Help, new collection from Janet (Carrier) Sarvey of Brookville Pa.
Janet has been a very big help in the over all I.D. process, as well as preserving Richardsville's heritage.
